addictions
One of the methods of preventing
drugs addiction is to inform people
what the drug addiction is, how it
arises, and how it affects human
organism.
The basic way to treat
alcoholism is the
psychoterapy.
Many educational programs that
promote life without stimulants
are organised among children
and young people.
Many social agencies fight with
drug distribution and their
usage.
Illegal plantations of cannabis
are constantly being liquidated
by the police.
Problem of drug addiction is
researched by scientists.
Another way of fighting with
stimulants is making posters
about alcohol and drugs.
There are special organisations
which protect people from
addictives, and help already
addicted people overcome
their problems.
MONAR
It is the organisation which
helps addicted people. It was
formed in October 1978 by
Marek Kotański.
Marek Kotański
He was leader of Monar since 1981
to 2002. He was a psychologist.
He died in 2002.
