New Government Drivers
Supporting Legislation:
• Mental Health Parity Legislation signed into law on
October 3, 2008:
Requires group health insurance plans to provide equal access
and cost sharing for physical and mental health treatment
Legislation becomes effective October 2009 and implemented
by most plans on January 1, 2010
• In addition, the new economic stimulus plan includes
more than $80 billion to be used for state-level

2010 Fiscal Third Quarter Highlights

New Expansion in Detroit, Michigan
