PORTABLE HIGH-SPEED
GAS CHROMATOGRAPH
APPLICATION
Fast-acting portable automatic gas chromatograph GCS-02FN is equipped with
Photo-Ionization Detector (PID), and is designed for qualitative and
quantitative analysis within wide range of organic substances contained in
gaseous and liquid samples.
The main fields of application is express drug analysis and identification, first
of all, in field conditions.
ADVANTAGES
The core part of the chromatograph is the unique multicapillary columns.
Their implementation makes it possible to achieve:
• high sensitivity and selectivity
• short analysis time (tens seconds) for heavy complex organic compounds
• ambient air is used as a gas-carrier
• low power consumption
• easy to operate
Built-in microprocessor controls the chromatograph's operating conditions.
Data collection, storage, processing and displaying are carried out by built-in
PC with related software CHROM.

OPERATING WITH GCS-02FN
Principle of the GC operation is based on the separation of the sample
mixture components in the multicapillary chromatographic column in
isothermal mode.
Sample analysis
Sample analysis should be performed after warm-up time of the device
and its calibration due to test substances. Perform sampling and prepare
substance solution for analysis by putting the analyzed substances into
solvent alcohol (using of acetonitrile or acetone is alsopossible).
OPERATING WITH GCS-02FN
To introduce the sample, one
should take 1 μl of analyzed
substance solution by the syringe
and enter it to the GC sample input
chamber. After introducing the
sample, analysis process begins
automatically.
OPERATING WITH GCS-02FN
Upon completion of the analysis, the results of obtained chromatogram
calculation and names of detected calibration substances are shown at the
table of results on the PC screen.
THE DEVICE CERTIFICATION
The Instrument passed the
State testing and is registered
in State roll of the facilities
of the measurements
under № 33550-06.
