Vision
Patients will:
• have their care coordinated,
• have access to a peer to help bridge treatment and recovery,
• have access to greater recovery supports, and
• have more input into treatment that supports an improved
quality of life.
Protecting the Path Forward
Segregate and track behavioral health spending
Make sure BHOs are not pushed towards mental
health rather than SUD
We will require managed care plans to:
Use APG pricing for two years
Reimburse for CASAC services
Include in plan networks providers in
treatment relationships with patients in those
plans
