After Arrival in France:
OFII immigration Form to be sent to the Préfecture
(within 3 months of arrival in France)
Medical exam at local OFII center
OFII Stamp on your passport
After this, the visa allows to:
Travel in European Union Territory
Work up to 20 hours per week (to help you a bit to
finance your stay)
Renewal:
after one year, Titre de Sejour to be applied for
Visa

Request “Prefecture” for
« Autorisation Provisoire de Séjour (APS) »
APS is valid for 6 months beyond “Titre
de Sejour”
Can be applied only 4 months before
expiry of “Titre de Sejour”
Student must sign a bond declaring:
“they will go back to country of origin if
no job contract is acquired in these 6
months.”
