Illustrate GDP: Take the GDP formula
GDP= C + I + G + XN and illustrate each
component. Make a picture that shows each
of the elements as they are connected to a
nation. Make sure the illustration is colored
and in the order of the GDP formula. Each
letter represented in the formula should have
an illustration that explains it. Your
illustration should have 5 to 6 drawings that
show the function of the formula. Also make
sure to pick a country you wish to show this
formula for and that your work looks
professional when you turn it in.
Globalization: Consider the following
questions and write a typed essay (250
words) or create a PowerPoint for debate.


Is there a benefit to buying American
goods? What are those benefits?
If it were possible to buy only American
goods, do you think people would still
consume the same amounts? How would
cost/prices be affected?

Fiscal Policy: Create a tax policy that will
make the government revenues in a certain
area. Make sure you explain why you wish to
tax the citizens and where the money will go.
Assignment must be typed and a minimum of
two pages double spaced. Economic
reasoning using economic terms is a
requirement.

Exchange Rate-Find what it would cost in USD for 20
different products from 20 different
currencies.


illustrated flow chart that shows how
a country imports and exports
products through individuals,
businesses, and governments. Pick
any product you wish to use and show
how it can travel through trade all
over the globe.


from the list provided and answer the
following questions on each of the

Letter to Congress: If we were able
to create a way to make all
underground economic activities
included in our overall GDP, the level of
GDP could rise in our nation close to 1015%. Brainstorm some ideas on ways
that you think we could decrease the
amount of underground economic
activity. Once you have a good idea
with some good points behind it,
compose a letter to Saxby Chambliss or
Johnny Iskason (your state senators)
that gives them your idea and your
theory behind it to help increase the
nation’s overall GDP. *Note—if your
idea regards illegal substances, make
sure your theory is sound, or you will
fail this assignment. Must be typed and
a minimum of 2 pages double spaced.
Types of Unemployment: Given the
three types of unemployment structural,
frictional, and cyclical. Give three indepth (minimum 9 sentences)
examples of each. Create a graphic
organizer that shows how each type is
different from the other and show the
examples within the organizer. Must be
