In the financial perspective 2007-2013, PARP is involved in implementation of 7.2 bn EUR worth of

Human Capital (EUR 672 m) and OP Eastern Poland Development (EUR 2.6 bn).

Poland - basic facts and figures
 Poland is classified by the World Bank as a “high-income economy.”
 With a population of over 38 million and GDP per capita of $19,752 (at purchasingpower parity) the total GDP of the country is equal to $468.6 billion, according to
World Bank figures.
 Poland the 7th-largest economy in the EU and the 20th-largest economy in the
world.
 Poland enjoys self-sustaining economic growth, with GDP growing at 4.3 percent in
2011.
 The economy is forecast by the European Commission to grow at a rates of 2.7
percent in 2012.
 According to the UNCTAD’s World Investment Report 2011 launched on July 26
2011, Poland is the 6th most attractive investment location in the world.
SMEs sector in Poland
• 1.86 m active enterprises
• Small and medium-sized enterprises constitute 99,8 % of total
number of enterprises in Poland, including 96% of microenterprises
• Number of employed by SMEs – 5.7 m
• 48.4 % of Polish GDP generated by SMEs
PARP achievements – 11 years of activity

Over 28,5 thousand contracts amounting to almost 6,55 bilion EUR

Over 500 thousand employees from over 180 thousand companies took
part in training sessions and postgraduate studies co-financed by PARP,

Over 1 million people benefited from the National SME Services Network,

Over PLN 828 million capitalization of regional and local loan and guarantee
funds,

25 projects awarded and 51 projects honored in 12 editions of the Polish
Product of the Future competition,

Over 8 million people visited Poland Pavilion during Expo 2010
in Shanghai,

145 publications amounting to over half a million copies.

Measure 6.1 Passport to export 1/2
 The measure’s objectives is to:
 increase the level of export in relation to entire sales,
 intensify relations with foreign partners,
 increase the level of recognisability of commercial and corporate
brands on foreign markets,
 Applicants: micro, small and medium-sized enterprises
 The measure’s budget: 121 840 000 Euro
 So far 2 863 agreements signed at the amount of 26 402 000 EUR
Measure 6.1 Passport to export 2/2
 Financed activities:
• Participation in foreign trade events,
• Participation in business missions organised abroad,
• Search and selection of business partners in the target markets,
• Obtaining the necessary documents to authorise the introduction of
the goods and services in the chosen foreign markets,
• Consultancy services in the area of the strategy export activities and
development of company’s image on foreign markets
