NA62 common crates
• Roadmap of project

Identify limited number of types of non standard
crate covering need of all NA62 users
Agree with WIENER on feasibility
Obtain an offer and integrate the “NA62 crates” in
the PH-ESE Technical data base
After this the NA62 crates will be treated as any other data
base equipment (can be ordered, verified, traced, etc…)

The cage (including backplane) and fan-tray (short version) are
standard WIENER units. They can be used without modification.
Accordingly the price can be a standard CERN price: 857CHF – fan
tray, 3345CHF – cage
The WIENER OPC server control software is covering both discussed
power supplies and already included in the price
The cage can be configured in such a way that some voltages will
not be delivered to the backplane even if the power supply is
capable to provide these voltages.
The fan-trays and power supplies are not radiation hard
The maximum tolerable by fan-trays magnetic field is about 50
Gauss.
