Class D Audio Driver IC
The IRS2093M(TR)PbF integrates four channels of
high voltage, high performance Class D audio
amplifier drivers with PWM modulators and
protections. In conjunction with external MOSFETs
and external components, a complete 4 channel
Class D audio amplifier can be realized.

Advantages
• The IRS2093M offers a smaller size Class D audio solution with
excellent audio performance.
• Compared to alternative solutions, an IRS2093M based solution
achieves a smaller footprint and high power due to the high
efficiency of IR’s digital audio MOSFET.
• High and low side MOSFETs are protected from over current
conditions by a programmable bi-directional current sensing.
• A small MLPQ48 package enhances the benefit of a smaller size of
Class D topology.
• The advantage of Class D over Class AB is that performance
improvement comes directly from silicon improvement and this is
where IR has the advantage by providing both the IC and FET.
• The IC is rated at 200V while the FET rating can vary from 55V to
200V depending on the amplifier power.
