TASK
• Identify test equipment (TE) requiring
calibration support utilizing Local
Calibration Procedures (LCPs)
– Approve LCPs
– Convert appropriate LCPs to Instrument
Calibration Procedures (ICPs)

APPROACH
• Identify LCPs used by NAVSEA laboratories
– NSWC Corona Letter of 1 August 2001
– METRL/MEASURE model number search
• Identify all active LCPs with workload from using
laboratory
– CPR query
– Lab manager telephone call and spreadsheet information
• Locate LCP hard copy and technical data
– Verify 17-35TR-04 format
– Manufacturer’s manual or specification sheets on
the model
• Officially publish LCP in METRL with models and
intervals
– ST700-AM-PRO-010/TAMS, Section 3
– Convert LCP to ICP as workload warrants

• Cancelled 4 LCPs as calibration support was found
