Timing System Trigger Adapter Modules

Hytec’s 3000 series Adapter modules are
designed to convert low-level logic signals
normally generated by timing system modules
to the high level electrical and optical signals
demanded by accelerator and laser facilities
equipment.
Extremely low jitter system with (typically <10ps
rms) with fast rise times (<1ns).
Delay values increments in 50ps steps
.
The fully modular format allows conversion of
individual signals or a fan-out from one input to
a group of outputs.
The Adapters are stand-alone modules which plug
into a mains-powered chassis unit (RIM1809).
They can be used with a variety of timing
modules from different vendors.
One example is the range of timing system
modules (EVG, EVR, 4CHTIM) marketed by
Micro-Research Oy of Finland.
The fully modular format allows conversion of
individual signals or a fan-out from one input to a
group of outputs.
There are two basic module types;
• The 3020 - provides low level logic to electrical
output conversion
• The 3021 - provides logic to optical output
conversion.
