Restrictions
• Common citizens must pay for access to TV 2
archives – 200 € per copy on VHS or DVD
• Sold copies are only for private use
• Pay-on-demand through internet is based on
micropayment fees
• School-children and teachers, students and
professors are allowed to make copies for
educational purpose
Working with copyright/IPR
• Use of third party’s assets in our own
news bulletins provided that we get
permission
• Assets with special protection:
– Actors and artists performing on stage
– Art works, paintings, sculptures
– Videoclips from cinema-movies
– Music
Other issues
• Sale of assets belonging to third party is
strictly forbidden
• Protecting intellectual, moral or ethical
rights
• Saving ”hot” assets to be able to compete
