Aims of the lesson

• Morality is about right and wrong, and
how we make decisions about right and
wrong.
• A story with a moral is one which tries
to point out something which is right or
something which is wrong.
Task
• Take a few minutes and write down in
your jotters some things which people
your age do, which you think is wrong.
• Make sure you have a few ideas as I
will be asking everybody so try to have
at least 1 thing you can tell me.

• Choose one of the actions on the board which
you think is wrong and make up a story with
that as the moral.
• i.e. don’t steal
• Your story should have characters and a clear
moral – do not write the moral though as the
class will have to guess what it is.
• The last line should be:
The moral of the story is …..
• You will do a rough draft in your jotter
then when you think your story is ready
you will transfer it to A4 paper and you
will write it out neatly and include a
picture!
