Learning Objective—Written to students in kid friendly terms.
Make it so the students understand.
What questions do you want students to be able to answer?
Example: Today you will review the parts of a plant. You will be
able to label the parts of a plant and tell how each part helps the
plant grow and live.
Teacher Info and Notes (put on a separate slide at the end but
put a link on this slide to teacher notes)
Include GLE/CLE or Common Core Standards (Subject, Strand #,
and write out standards); not here.

Directions
Write the directions last.
Use icons or text. Make it relative to the grade and the
students. Explain the navigation system and how students will
use both linear and non-linear navigation. Again, it will be easier
to write the directions after you have completed the project.

Learning Content –Topic 1
Give it a Title--match the menu
How do roots help a plant?
You may link to the Internet for some of the learning content or you
may copy part of the content (give credit on the resource slide). When
linking to the Internet, be sure students know what to read and do
when they get to the site/page.
Make sure there at least three separate topics with at least three
slides each. Provide a link to the next slide and back, but only to the
Menu on the last slide.
Limit the amount of text on a slide. Add visuals to help support the
visual learner. You may also add audio for those students who may
have difficulty reading.
Learning Content –Topic 1
continued page 2
Only provide buttons on slides when they make sense. On
this slide you would NOT want a link to the Menu or to the Quiz.
This is the second slide for learning on topic one so you need
only a forward or backward button.
