Walls
• North facing walls receive little direct
sunlight. Only plants adapted to growing
in shady conditions will thrive there
• East facing walls may receive direct
sunlight for several hours per day. In
winter and early spring this warmth early
in the day can damage frozen buds by
causing rapid thawing
