Management
(Golden nematode & Root Knot nematode disease)
Infected plants should be uprooted and burnt as soon as detected in
the field.
Organic amendment of soil to reduce the nematode activity in the
soil.
Use resistant variety like Kufri Swarna.
Deep ploughing during summer months.
Crop potato with non host crop for at least two years.
Strict quarantine measures particularly in Nilgiri hills for golden
nematode disease.
