Process of green house effect
1)Sun rays penetrate the atmosphere and hit the Earth
2)Rays a heat are reflected bach due to co2 level they stay in the
atmosphere
3)Heat causes rising temperature
Predictions:
-if temperature rises,icebergs will melt
-if icebergs melt,the sea level rises
-if sealevel rises,seaside areas will be flood so town with low
attitude above sea will disappear
and fruits

-if temeperature rises,desert will be spread
-in 50 year in Slovakia we may grow exotic and tropical plants

How can we stop it?!
-Conserve fossils fuel-each person inJapan uses only 50% of coal
-Conserve rainforests-the Earth needs more trees.You must STOP cut them down
-Use only natural energy-20% of the world´s energy already comes from the
Sun.To slow down the greenhouse effect.The number must rise to 50% in the
next 20 years
-Ban CFS´s
Ozone holes
-They are caused by freons included in air
conditionning,freezes,fridges and sprayes
-zone holes is a lack of ozone which protect us from the sun
destroying rays
-lack of ozone causes dangerous skin care
What can we personally do?!
-use products not containing freons(CFC´s free)
-travel more by public transport

UNESCO- sites inscrebet on the UNESCO world heritage list
-law protected for their particular enviroment and exeptionality in the
World
GLOBAL RETRAF- they focus on tree and forest protection.They have slogan:
„Plant a tree cool a Globe.“
-co estabilisher of GR was Marian Kapusta
-in Banská Štiavnica in the territory of Červená
Studňa,there was established a forest in memory of Mr.Kapusta as he died
tragically in the USA.
An appetite for Carbon why the tree are so important and how they produce
oxygen:
-The metabolism of trees depends on the intake of the cheef greenfouse
gas,cardon deoxyde,by chloroplasts in the leaves.They convert the carbon
in the gas into sugar and starches udes to make the
trunk,bark,leaves,roots…The remaining oxygen id released into the

Caused by:
-transport-leak of oil into sil
-fertiblizers
-acid rains which are caused by smoke
when the co2 is mixed with water,sulphuric acid is produces which destroyes
plants and soil

Caused by:
-tankers-transport-when the ship crashes,many petrol leaks into the sea which disables
an animal to breathe.
-waste disposal-many factories disposed this waste right into water by chanel
-town waste and lack of cleaning stations-waste goes right into water
-fequent transport causes noise which destroyes nstural habital water animals
-fishing
Result:
-many water animals extinct die or are endangered(whale sucide)
-many animals are trapped
-sea birds hunt in polluted water and feathers is cevered by oil which disables them to
fly
-lack of fresh water
-water plants become poisonous for water animals
What can we do?!
-do not use chemicals to do washing up,tp wash dishes or use those which are
easily dicomposed in nature
-save fresh water,in closets and gardens use rain water or industrial water
Lack of Oxygen
Caused by:
-wood industries-mainily rainforests are cut down.The rainforest produce 70%
of world production of Oxygen and every day 15 acres of rainforests is cut
down
What can we do?!
-use recycle paper
-use renewable source of energy
-save energy
-use solar and geo-thermal wind and hydro energy
Geo-thermal-as well as solar.There are others kinds of natural energy.One is
from rocks and water at thw centre of the Earth.
Wind power -we got 10% of it is electricity from wind farms.The
problem is money.It is very expensive to develope and build
wind farms.That is because it have to be in high places near
the coast or on islands.This makes electricity
expensice,too.But in the future electricity from the fosil fuels
and nuclear power will begin to cost more and more.
Wave power -25% of the world´s electricity already comes from
dams and rivers.First water enters a special machine are small
and expensive.They do not produce much electricity.

solutions,arnange camapings for nature
protection,educate people,make people enviroment
conscious,protect animals,plants save endangered
animals and plants,organise meeting advice
government in enviroment issues

FEO-deals with general protection and couserracy of
natural and natures resources
ICEP-preserves all konds of birds and their biotypes
WWF-deals with organisation of onternational
preserving activities of animal on danger
IFFAW-fights for tender and thrifty handle with animals
WSPA-cares pf starting off the suffering of animals
IWRB-helps to protect waterfowls and wetlands
Endangered animals and plants
-pandas,elephants,siberian tigers,eagles,tortoises
-hijacints,crocuses,rainforests
Caused by:
-Industries-polluties their enviroment
-human habbitats-steals animals their natural habbits
-poachers-illegal hunting outside season
-set traps-many animals died
-medical,cosmetics industries-experiment
-fashion industry-for coats
What can we do?!
-do not buy coats,do not buy cosmetics tasted on animals
-estabilish national parks and protected landscape areas
-make law stricter-higher feries
Waste
-let´s start collecting natural waste
-we can do it at school or at home
-put the rest of your food into a special container-compost place
-situate your compost place on sunny area which will make decomposition
faster
-do not cover it as it needs ventilation
-after 3-4 weeks you have natural fertilizers for your garden
