Final Jeopardy
If you have a 3 gallon
jug, a 5 gallon jug and
as much water as you
want. How do you get
EXACTLY 4 gallons?
Final Jeopardy Answer
First you fill up the 5 gallon jug to the top.
Then fill up the 3 gallon jug with 3 gallons
from the 5 gallon jug. Which leaves 2 gallons
in the 5 gallon jug. Dump out the 3 gallon jug
and then dump the 2 gallons left over in the 5
gallon jug into the 3 gallon jug. Then fill up
the 5 gallon jug. With the 5 gallon jug fill top
of the 3 gallon jug with one gallon from the 5
gallon jug. Which leaves 4 gallons in the 5
gallon jug. 
