Where a Gibbon Monkey Lives
• Gibbons only live in Southeast Asia
• Live in forests
• Live in low part of forests
• Live in four different countries called
Thailand, Indonesia, Java, and Cambodia
What a Gibbon Monkey Likes To Eat
• Gibbon monkeys are herbivores
• Gibbon eat fruit, flowers, buds,
and insects
• Gibbons get protein from eating
bird eggs
A Gibbon Monkey’s
Early Stages of Life
• Female gibbons have one baby every
three or four years
• Baby gibbons hang on to mom when
she swings
• When gibbon is five or six it leaves its
mom
Why Gibbon Monkeys Are Endangered
• Only 110 remaining
• People cut down trees for farm
land which is their habitat
