 Through our history there were always poets who
were aware how important was to protect the Nature
and how water and air polution affected plants and
organisms living in seas,rivers,lakes….
 Many poets like Wordsworth,Shelly,Keats,Byron ect.
have always been celebrated for their love of Nature.
 Wordsworth` s poems reveal an intimate bondig
with native world.One of the most celebrated native
poets is John Ruskin.Ruskin,like Wordsworth,
belived Nature to be the best teacher for men and
that ”all other efforts in education were in vain till
you have taught your people to love fields ,birds and
flowers.”
 William Morns was another poet who wrote about
ecological themes.His song ˝The Earthly Paradise˝
advises the reader to:
 ˝... dream of London ,small and white,and clean,
 The clear Thames bordered by its gardens green…˝
 For Emerson nature was the source of beauty,peace
and privacy.In his essay ˝Nature˝ he says:
 ˝We are as much strangers in nature as we are aliens
fom God .We do not understand the notes of the
birds. The fox and the deer run away from us,the
bear and the tiger rend us.˝
