Transcript Ecological Impact Assessment

Queen’s College Old Boys’ Association Secondary
School – Group 2
Since there are a proposed large scale
private housing development in Chuen
Lung, which is a valuable environment
for the organisms, such as salamanders
there. In the process of construction,
there must be great damage to the
habitats there, so an ecological impact
assessment must be done to avoid
breaking the balance between
environment and economy.

Grassland,shrubland & woodland:
- Fruits of the plants can provide
foods or medicine for villagers and
wild animals
-habitat for rare insects and animals
-Mainly balance the abundance of
CO2 and O2 in the atmosphere
