LEARN SOMETHING NEW
(20-40 minutes)
CREATE A VOCABULARY FOLDABLE:
1. Fold your paper in half – hotdog style
2. Cut the paper on the open end, in the center,
stop about ½ way
3. Make two more cuts about halfway between the
left edge center cut
4. Make your last cut between the center and
halfway to the right edge
5. Fold each flap backward matching the edge of
the paper
6. Turn over and flip the flaps on the other side
7. Tape the tops of the flap sides together
8. Refold

5. energy
_________________________:
Change from one form of energy
to another.
Law of Conservation of Energy
6. ________________________________________:
Energy cannot
be created or destroyed, but only changed from one form into
another.
thermal energy
7. _____________________:
Internal kinetic energy due to the
random motion of particles that make up an object.
8. mechanical
_________________________:
Total energy of motion and
energy
