Leader+ (new axis 4 of EAFRD)
Financial support for regional activities of rural development
Basis: Leader Action Groups ( built by municipalities, local
associations, district governments, etc.)
“Leader approach” for activities within Axis 2 or 3 increases
the share of project financing
Integrated Rural Development Concepts
Networking possible within transnational Leader projects
(contact agency in Brussels)
Examples: Shop(s) for sale of regional agricultural products
with eco-labelling in the catchment area of a National park or
Natura 2000 area
