Data Oriented Mobile Data Communication
 High Mobile Data Services Costs
<= Specialized Terminals and Infrastructure Systems
 Specialized Applications and Low Speed
<= Not End-User applications like an Internet Access
 Small Coverage
<= Focused on Business Area
 Data Only Service Terminal
<= requires Additional Cellular Phone
 Barriers for the Mobile Data User Subscription

GWR(Gateway Router) :
Interface the Internet and has its Internet Network ID, Each Mobile Host may
have Internet IP address which is one of the host identifier within the GWR’s
Network ID. This is a gateway between “Mobile Internet” and “Internet” and is the
anchor system for the Internet IP datagram transmission. May act as IP manager

MR(Mobile Router) :
is the Point to Point Connection Router between MH to MH, or MH to GWR.
register the MH location, authenticate MH, and do all other MT2 control functions.
Act as the Home Agent for the registered MHs, and act as the Foreign Agent for
the Roaming MHs. Each MR can have Multiple MSC and GWR.

MH(Mobile Host) :
may have unique Internet IP address or not. IP datagram of the MH having
unique IP should be transmitted through the Home GWR at the Home Mobile Internet.
The IP address of the MH which has no unique IP is temporarily assigned by the
GWR of the visited mobile Internet.
