CTC04
To be sung to the tune of
O, Susanna
Oh I took a plane to Waxhaw
Recurrency to take!
And through the many sessions
I have barely stayed awake.
There is one session that I love
- look forward to the most!
It is the one with candy
Thrown by the nerdy host!
Chorus
Trubbleshootin’
Oh, who could ask for more?
And I got all this and candy
All at CTC04.
When getting an assignment
My skills I should reveal
But careless choices of my words
Can make or break the deal
When I am writing letters that
Describe my current work
I best take care that they do not
Make me look like a jerk.
Chorus
Trubbleshootin’
Oh, who could ask for more?
And I got all this and candy
All at CTC04.
I know to think in layers when
The network isn’t right
and if my fiber needs a check
I’ll get out my flashlight.
I know to test my Layer 2
If Layer 3 is sick
And testing Layer 3 is when
a PING will do the trick.
TELNET is the tool of choice
When email’s on the fritz
A quick TELNET to port 110
Will help me keep my wits!
And when I get a problem that
I cannot seem to solve
To check NetBIOS/DNS
To see if they resolve.
When I am testing open ports
It’s TELNET, I’ll recall
That tests to see if packets
All get through the firewall.
The trip to Waxhaw – it was good
I trubbleshot & more
But the best thing was the CANDY!
at CTC04.
Chorus
Trubbleshootin’
Oh, who could ask for more?
And I got all this and candy
All at CTC04.
