Site Readiness steps - Memo
WHO: Technology Coordinators
WHAT: Certify that sites are prepared for testing prior to student practice tests
WHEN: No later than November 11, 2013.
These are described in detail in the Online Site Readiness Guide on ctb/com/OK
1. Confirm workstation and network requirements
Review the EOI Winter Workstation Requirements to complete this activity.
2. Install the Test Delivery Client software
Review the instructions below for a Standard install or the Online Quick Install
Checklist (Custom Installer)
3. Download Test Content
4. Verify installation and connectivity
Review the Site Network Infrastructure Guidelines. Then, follow the instructions in
the Network Utility Guide.
5. Final Site Readiness
Setup and take a practice test using a fake student login on several workstations
as described below
6. Submit the Site Self-Certification Checklist to [email protected]
Fill out the Checklist including results from the Network Utility
7. Site Remediation
Contact the CTB HelpDesk to troubleshoot issues. A field engineer may visit or
follow-up to determine possible remediation solutions.

Custom Installer – Verify setup on a few workstations
• From installer folder, launch the
Network Utility.
• On the First Tab (Network
Connectivity Test), click Start.
• Questions 1, 2 and 3 should return
“Yes”
• This does not confirm content
installation.

three questions should result
with “Yes” which confirms that
the application has been
correctly installed.

Custom Installer – Verify Setup on a few workstations
• Launch Test Delivery Client software.
• Login using a fake login from the (OAS) training site .
• If the application launches and login completes, then the application
and content have been setup correctly.
