Many cities
have
structures that
we associate
with them. For
example, we
think of the
Eiffel Tower in
Paris.

Rome, Italy has the ancient structure called the Colosseum.

The architecture is made of columns that have
arches between them. An arch is made from wedge
shaped stones that fit between the columns. The
top stone is called the keystone and holds it all
together. Look at the space inside the arch.
