Class Rules:
• Follow directions the first time
they are given.
• Respect rights and property of

• Raise your hand to speak or
leave your seat.
• Work quietly in the classroom.

Class Supplies
Students should come prepared each day with a minimum of
something to write with and write on.
• SSR book for Independent Reading
• Crayons (for the class)
• Colored Pencils & Markers (for the class)
• #2 Pencils (In backpack)
• Pens (In backpack)
• Binder Paper (A few sheets in backpack, and some
for the class.
• Spiral Notebooks (single subject, blue & green)
• Kleenex tissue
Parent Volunteers

Consequences
• Verbal Reprimand or warning
• Student conference and/or seat adjustment
• Student conference, placement in counseling
chair, parent contact, and 15 minutes detention
• Referral
Homework
• Unfinished classwork automatically becomes
homework.
• Students have Study Hall 4th period TuesdayThursday. This time is set aside to work on any
unfinished classwork or assigned homework.
• Students should not be spending more than 90 minutes
per day at home on homework. If this is the case, the
student may not be working productively during study
hall.
Agendas
Students are given time
everyday in class to write down
their homework in their agendas.
 You must write your signature in the agenda
Monday through Thursday. I check agendas
every week and make sure the students are
filling them out correctly, and parents are
signing them.

Class Policies
• Late work one day late is accepted for half
credit. Second semester no late work will
be accepted.
• Absent work is due upon the number of
days the student was absent. For
example, if you child was absent for two
days, then he/she has two days to make up
the work.
• It is the student’s responsibility to check
the assignment book to see what they
missed when they were absent.

• Attendance is mandatory on days
of scheduled oral presentations.
• Students missing a district
assessment will have to make this
up on their own time.
• Participation in classroom
discussions and cooperative
activities are required and
factored into student’s grades.

• 100%= A+
• 94-99%= A
• 90-93%=A• 88-89%= B+
• 84-87%=B
• 80-83%=B-

Parent Conferences
Conferences are scheduled at end of the
first quarter. You will pick your child’s
report card, have the opportunity to meet
with the teachers.

conference with me at anytime.
