About the conference site:
School of Media and Communication
The journalism department, established in
1965 as the first of its kind in Korea, was
expanded into the School of Media &
Communication in 2010 with an aim to nurture
creative global professionals required in the new
media era. The school is regarded as one of the
most leading incubators of talent, educating
students for the challenging and competitive
media environment.
Faculty from diverse backgrounds provide a
multidisciplinary approach in media studies. The
school encompasses both traditional and
emerging media, conceptual and empirical
studies, and courses covering theory and
practice.
The Media Hall completed in 2011 provides an
advanced learning venue, including a theater
that enables comprehensive media education.

KMMA
The Korea Media Management Association,
established in Sep 2002, is the first association
in the area of Media management in Korea.
Pioneering the convergence of broadcasting,
telecommunication, and the Internet, the KMMA
aims for active collaboration of academia and
industry and hosts joint forums in the area of
media and IT.
