Why this topic?
Aim of the Module
1.
To stress out the importance of a social network for ageing people with ID.
2.
To give frontline staff more insight and tools to get into relation and into
communication with an ageing person with ID and their social network.
3.
The content of the module will help you to reflect on your job as a carer in
order to optimize the specific care you give to ageing people with ID.
4.
In general this module will advise you on: specific dynamics of getting
older and ID, person centered care, working with the social network of the
client, staff attitudes, communication in team, sustaining communication in
relation to the client, self reflection and dealing with difficult situations.

client with the team.
