Chapter 6 Lesson 3
Communicating Effectively
Warm up/ Journal
Erin’s friend Louise is the kind of person who
always wants to have her own way. When they
go out together, Louise decides where they’ll go
and what they’ll do. If Erin offers a suggestion,
Louise dismisses it. Erin wants to stay friends
with Louise, but she’s tired of being pushed
around. She wishes she knew how to stand up
for herself without being rude.
Write a letter from Erin to Louise explaining the
situation, how they can stay friends, and how
their friendship can meet Erin’s needs.
