B is for Bureaucracy
A bureaucracy is made up of appointed officials who are
responsible for different areas of the government.

The Chang Jiang River flows for 3,400 miles east across
central Asia.
D is for Dynasty
A dynasty is a line of rulers who come from the same
family.
E is for Emporer
Qin made himself emporer od China in 221 B.C., he also
declared himself Qin Shinuangdi.

Qin forced farmers to leave all their land to go builed the
Great Wall of China.

In the Zhou government, the king is the head of the
government.
H is for Han Wudi
Han Wudi, also known as "Martial Emporer of Han," ruled
from 141 B.C. to 87 B.C.

The new inventions during the Han dynasty helped China
workers produce more things.

Confucius' ides hepled people in the modern life get

Legalism's main idea is that the society needs a system of

The Silk Road is large network of trade routes stretching
for about 4,000 miles.

Tea was one of the high-priced goods that the Silk Road
carried.
U is for Urged
Confucius urged people to be good and to seek
knowledge.
V is for Valley
In the valley of Chang Jiang, the valley has rich soil.
W is for Wisdom
Shang kings got their wisdom from gods, spirits, their
ancestors.
X is for the Xia Dynasty
Most of China's first rulers were part of the Xia dynasty.
Z is for the Zhou Dynasty
The Zhou dynasty was the longest - lasting dynasty in
Chinese history.
