After World War I it seemed France, Britain, and the United
States were strong and stable nations. If one looked closer
they would see that all three had significant problems that
would soon be exposed. Dissatisfaction with democracy would
soon lead many to embrace nationalism and socialism.

Point for Discussion: Why would capitalism and democracy
lead to dissatisfaction among the people of a nation?

