He/she has based their campaign on

He/she must win their party’s
nomination this is done in a form of a
primary vote. They must have the
support of their party in order to win
the nomination. They do this by
going to various states and
campaigning. Once they have won
their party’s nomination they can
then run against the other parties for
the president’s office.

The President elect has a certain
platform that they make their
opinions heard on the various issues
at hand. These issues set them apart
from their counter part. Some of
these issues include the War in Iraq,
the economy, and health care. Their
ideas on how they handle these
issues will decide if they make it to
the office of President or not.

Another key point to winning the
office of President is how the
candidate presents him/herself to the
nation in a form of debate and
speeches. They present their plans to
the nation by debating how they
differ from the other candidate.
These speeches and debates is
another way they can be voted in to
the office of President.
