• We have learned that our bodies need to
excrete 4 wastes: water, salt, CO2 & Urea
• The URINARY SYSTEM made up of:
– Kidneys, ureters, bladder, and urethra
– Responsible for excreting Urea in urine
– Maintaining water & chemical balance
• LUNGS
– Responsible for excreting CO2 & water

The Liver: Vital organ that among other
jobs filters toxins from the blood. Wastes
are broken down to form UREA


