Transcript de-circulatory

The heart is just on the left side of the chest. This diagram shows where all the veins,
and arteries branch out.

The circulatory system’s purpose is to
pump blood throughout the body. It
passes oxygen and nutrients to every
part of the body. It is also linked to the
Lymphatic System and The
Cardiovascular system.
The circulatory system is an organ
system that passes nutrients,
hormones, blood cells, etc. to and
from cells in the body to help fight
diseases and help stabilize body
temperature.


The Heart is a fat
muscle the pumps
blood through out
the body
The heart is made of
4 chambers The left
and right ventricles
and the atria.



The Vein and Arteries
are blood vessels
Blood runs through
arteries to circulate
the blood around
the body.
The blood is then
returned to the heart
in the veins when it
runs out of oxygen
I know this might look gross, you just have to bear the pain for a few moments.
Blood Passes
through valves
into lower
chambers.
Upper
Chambers fill
with blood.
Blood starts to fill
up the relaxed
upper chambers
from the veins.
Then the Lower
Chambers
contract, pushing
blood into the
arteries.

KEEP YOUR HEART HEALTHY
How fast is your heartbeat?
It’s your choice if you want to keep your
heart healthy. Start by eating a healthy
diet and drink LOTS of water. You’ll need
at least half an hour of physical activity
too.
You’ll Need:
Plastic Funnel, plastic tube(like hosepipe),tracing
paper and sticky-tape
1.Stretch the tracing paper over the funnels wide end
and tape in place. Push a short length of tube
over the funnels narrow end.
2.Place the funnel’s wide end over your heart, on
your chest, just to the left, and put the tube end to
your ear. Listen to and count your heartbeat.
