 Provide leadership and sponsorship for the project
 Assist with timely resolution of critical issues
 Communicate periodically to the organization regarding the status of the
project
 Focus on delivering business benefits
 Ensure on-time, on-budget completion of project activities
 Coordinate communications with the organization
 Reinforce project direction and vision
 Ensure minimal disruption to the business when the system is implemented
 Manage all aspects of project execution (risk, requirements, resources,
financials, contract management, analysis, and reporting)
 Perform review and sign-off of functional specifications with Business
Process Owners.
 Manage cultural change, sponsorship, and ownership required to
successfully implement system and achieve benefits
 Manage security and authorization profiles as they relate to the defined roles
 Focus on consistent communications and training design
 Ensure redesigned roles / jobs are incorporated into organization and
training design
 Ensure smooth cut-over to the new system

 Meet with project team regularly and join workshops to validate and
shape progress of process design and related people, work, and policy
changes
 Assist in identifying and removing barriers and “blockers” to realization
of best process outcomes
 Provide user acceptance and “sign-off” designs and project outputs
developed by the project team with project and change management.
 Perform user acceptance, system tests and document corresponding
results to validate against signed-off functional specifications.
 Act as first line of defense in support of new users during the cut-over.
