adventure, unusual ideas, curiosity, and
variety of experience

self-discipline, act dutifully, and aim for
achievement; planned rather than
spontaneous behavior.
The trait shows a preference for planned

stimulation in the company of others.
Extraverts enjoy being with people, and are
often perceived as full of energy.

others.
The trait reflects individual differences in

anger, anxiety, depression, or
vulnerability; sometimes called emotional
instability.
They are more likely to interpret ordinary
situations as threatening, and minor
frustrations as hopelessly difficult.
