Plant Science Major
Suggested subject combinations for second year
The School of Botany offers a number of core plant science subjects at second year level.
Plants and the Environment (Sem.1) and Plant Biodiversity (Sem. 2) are recommended
for all students. Choose other subjects depending on whether your interest lies with either
cell biology or the whole plant. A sensible selection of subjects will keep your options open
within the Plant Science major, as well as for other majors.
Make an appointment to discuss your subject choice with a Botany course adviser
