The safe connection
Reliability and functionality also under hard
conditions.
All of its components are made in Switzerland.
Once assembled in Reichenbach, every binding
is subject to a thorough quality control program
with a functional test.
With reliability of a Swiss clock!

According the need – the convenient system.
The arguments always at your fingertips!
Maximum power transmission.
Stays rigid in the back, where the highest forces
are acting … similar to an alpine binding.
In turning, the power transmission of
conventional pin bindings is interrupted
by the heel unit’s rotating movements for
the lateral release.
Precise and safe control of skis.
The boot is freed immediately.
The lateral release occurs in the front where
the lateral forces are acting during a fall.
In the other pin bindings, the boot is released in the
back via a rotating heel unit. The boot is not released
until it pushes open the clamping mechanism in the
front.
This is how alpine bindings work.
The combination of the long dynamic path of
13 mm with consistent high tension prevents
an unwanted release.
In other pin bindings, the tension is not consistently
high or the dynamic path is shorter, resulting in an
unwanted release or reduced power transmission.
No unwelcome surprise!
The holding system is never blocked
The boot is fixed and held in the middle, but the
binding will release in response to high active forces.
All other pin bindings must be blocked while climbing
to ensure stability.
Solid support while climbing and safety in an emergency.
Easy handling of all functions.
With the pole and without having to step out
of the binding.
No other pin binding offers this level of comfort in all
functions.
Easy operation means more than comfort.
The lightest binding with TÜV certificate.
Light high-tech plastics and high-quality metal alloys
allow superior stability and light weight.
In many applications, plastics provide higher
stability and durability than metals. The right mix
makes the difference for maximum performance
and the lightest possible weight.
Lightness and safety.
Everyone his personal range of use.
The right mix for happy customers.
The right mix for happy customers.
With SAFETY PIN SYSTEM:

• Boots without ergonomic bellows
Checking means safety  4 – Items to be checked
With ALUBAR SYSTEM:
• Boots following DIN ISO 5355 (alpine boots) or
following DIN ISO 9523 (touring boots)
 boots have an edge as interface area
 Heel WITHOUT add-on from the SkiTrab-binding
• Boots without ergonomic bellows
Checking means safety.
Check contact area between boot and binding
Toe and heel
