• The solar system includes the sun and all the
planets, satellites, and comets that circle
around the sun.
• Earth is one of the eight planets in our
solar system.

• Something that is dim has very little light.
• It is hard to see in a dim room.

• Temperatures measure heat and cold.

• A telescope is a tool used to make faraway
objects look larger and closer.
• I use a telescope to study stars.
