Mathematics – 2 years (20 credits)
◦ must pass algebra and geometry
◦ Or, two years of math if you started at geometry
or higher in the 9th grade

Science – 2 years (20 credits)
◦ must pass one year physical science (physics or
chemistry) and 1 year life science (biology)


World History – 1 year (10 credits)

BOTH “A” or “1” and “B” or “2” classes.

In the Add/Edit Requests mode, click the alternate course’s
drop down menu in the “Alternate For” column, and select your
first choice course. Click SUBMIT when done.

packet and return to your counselor in your World History.

February 9th and ends Thursday,
February 11th at midnight.

All juniors are encouraged to take the PSAT/NMSQT on
October 19th. They will be sold in the office at the end of
September. Be sure to read the bulletin.
11th graders will enter the competition for scholarships
from National Merit Scholarship Corporation.
Additional benefits of the PSAT Exam:
◦ Connects students to colleges and universities across the
country and to scholarship organizations.
◦ Prepares students for the new SAT and college and fuels
practice recommendations on Khan Academy (free personalized
and focused practice)!
◦ Matches students with AP courses that make the most of their
academic strengths. AP classes can provide an edge in the
college admission process, and an opportunity to earn college
credit.



All other students: Return dates are this Thursday,
February 11th and Friday, February 12th in your World
History classes….come prepared!
