colors
 Mascot
This must be approved by voters of all
districts concerned
 This takes in the entire district

Dissolution/Annexation
One district dissolves entirely and is
incorporated into an existing district or
districts.
 This creates new boundaries but does not
change the district name, school colors,
etc. of the receiving district.
 This option must be approved by voters in
all the affected districts.
 This also takes in the entire district

Deactivation of HS or JH/HS
This option is when a district closes the high
school or the junior high school portions of the
district and sends those student on a tuition
basis to another district or districts. The sending
district remains a K-12 district.
 Students may be sent to more than one district
on tuition basis by agreements between the
districts.
 This option must be approve by the voters of the
deactivating district but the receiving district can
agree to accept the students by Board action.

Stay as Current District

This does not require any action on the
part of the Board or the voters other than
election of Board members and continued
support for the district.
