• Dave Simko has been with Swagelok for just short of 35 years,
holding various positions in engineering and marketing. A
mechanical engineer, he has several patents on valve design.
Currently he is Manager of Marketing Resources.
• Dave is married to Terry, has 3 daughters and 3 granddaughters.
The most recent arrival is Rosalind Kai from Fuling in China,
adopted by daughter #2, Melissa.
• In his spare time he enjoys home brewing (which he writes off as
biotech research), cross-country skiing (before consuming the
home brew) and studying the American Civil War.
• Swagelok is a sponsor of CPAC and Dave has been involved with
NeSSi since its inception.
John Wawrowski
• Product Manager, Analytical Instrumentation, Swagelok
• John Wawrowski has been with Swagelok for over 17 years. He
spent 15 of his years holding multiple positions in sales support,
plant operations, and product engineering. He has extensive
experience with Swagelok valve products and has carried that
experience into his current marketing role as product manager for
Swagelok’s analytical instrumentation products.
• One of his responsibilities is the development of Swagelok
Modular Platform Components (MPC).
• John holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering Degree from
Cleveland State University.
• John and his wife Lori have two young daughters who don’t
understand why he gets to be in Arizona instead of frozen
Cleveland.
