In handwriting ensure consistency in size and proportions of letters and the

decipher new or unfamiliar words

using a widening range of conjunctions

To identify mis-spelt words in own writing.
To use their knowledge of prefixes to generate new words from root
words.
To explore homonyms which have the same spelling but multiple
meaning.

Numeracy – Main Objectives
 Place-value, ordering, rounding:

Round a 3-digit or 4-digit number to its nearest 100 or 1000.
To locate the position of a 3-digit number on a number line.
To become familiar with four digit numbers.

To recognise that addition can be done in any order.
