• Bulgaria is an old country with beautiful
monuments and nature.

Nessebar - archaeological museum
• Nessebar or also known
as antique Mesemvria is
one of the oldest cities in
Europe.
• There are numerous
findings for the ancient
history. Most of them
are assembled in the
Archaeological Museum
in the Old Town.
• The Archaeological
Museum was founded in
1956 by the architect
Hristo Koev.
Cape Maslen
• About 65-70 million years
ago around the river
Ropotamo was located a
stone pyramid that
resembles a lion's head.
• The area is called Maslen
nos.
• Lion's Head is set for
landmark in 1974. As part of
the natural park Ropotamo.
The Rose Valley – Kazanlak
• Kazanlak is known as
the Valley of the Roses
with the highest quality
rose oil.
• Every year during the
first week of June the
city of Kazanlak
celebrates the Festival
of Roses.
• One of the festival’s
traditions is the
gathering of roses early
in the morning by
people dressed in
traditional costumes.
National Park Museum Shipka
• National Park Museum
Shipka is located on top
of Shipka Peak (1,326 m).
• The other seven floors of
the museum display
personal effects of the
solders and volunteers,
medals, photos,
weapons and
documents related to
the battles fought over
Shipka.
• One of the exhibits is a
copy of the Samara Flag
– the first battle flag of
the Bulgarian
Opalchentsi.
