Meeting Goals
•
Share lots of information about the TeacherLine service that will be
useful when you are back in your home state working to promote
PBS TeacherLine;
•
Engage you in our new paradigm – that is – that we are now a
service with two incredibly valuable products – PBS
TeacherLine online courses and PBS TeacherLine Peer
Connection; and
•
Reunite you with your TeacherLine colleagues across the system
so that you have full access to the whole TeacherLine network for
ideas, support and collaboration.
•
Answer any questions that you might have about TeacherLine and
achieving success.
Brand Study
 PBS TeacherLine is the benchmark among online
professional development providers. While
educators are favorable towards most online PD
providers, PBS TeacherLine is the top-rated provider
with 8 in 10 believing it to be “good” or “excellent” –
more so than competitors such as Scholastic RED,
Pearson LessonLab, and Teachscape.
Perceptions of “Excellence” – Online PD Providers
Overall, educators are favorable to most online PD providers, but PBS TeacherLine is rated highest, followed closely
by several providers all rated very similarly (suggesting perhaps little differentiation in the minds of educators).
