Objective
Increase new knowledge on climate change-food security-trade linkages in India
Develop capacity of Indian stakeholders to take advantage of the positive linkages
between climate change, food security, trade and develop adequate policies



Major Activities
Research (macro level study focus on impacts of climate change on food production;
micro level study to investigate social and practical condition for household food
security & institutional studies with emphasis on local and national distribution system)
Advocacy (Reference groups, Media articles, engage with relevant policy makers)
Capacity building (Four evidence based capacity building at regional level)
Networking (Inception and launch meeting; exchange visits; national conference,
Evidence based meeting in Norway, etc)






Design and implement a network-based research and advocacy agenda on TGP



Research (Three broad subjects – How India has been inclusive? ; Trade poverty links
in manufacturing & sectoral transformation and non-agricultural job creation)
Advocacy (National Reference group, engagement with Parliamentarians, media articles)
Capacity building (Regional level, exchange visits)
Networking (Inception and launch meeting; national conference, European Conference
in Norway, etc)






requirements for inclusive growth in the Indian context

requirements
