From Middle to High
School
 Class meets 4 times per week @ 90
minutes per class.
 Class lasts 4 months.
 Accelerated pace = increased
homework and frequent assessments
 Absences = 2 (MS) classes missed
Inside the High School
Classroom
 Students are expected to remain in their seats.
 Hold onto items to thrown out or given to another
student until the end of class.
 Avoid distracting class if it is absolutely necessary to
get up to fetch a tissue or sharpen a pencil.
 Students are expected to respect the teacher and
each other.
 No talking when teacher/student is speaking to class
 No conversations with other students during lesson
 Students are expected to address the teacher and
classmates with a respectful tone.
Inside the High School
Classroom
 Students are expected to manage their time
and their learning
 Don’t miss instructional time to use bathroom,
get drink, etc. – plan ahead.
 Listen to explanation of homework and ask
questions for clarification.
 Bring all materials, including textbook, to class.
 Move efficiently and quietly between activities
and/or classroom to language lab.

1. Your flyer contains your name, your secret
Engrade Access Code, and the URL where you can
sign up for an account.
2. With your Access Code, go to the URL listed, enter
each those codes, and create a username/password
combination.
3. Use your username and password to log in
anytime and see your classroom information on
Engrade.

Absences
 check for homework on the class website
 all homework is due upon return (1 day’s grace per day missed)
 any quizzes, tests, assessments that you have missed must be
made up within a week
 it is very important to be present, especially on days when you are
making a presentation!
