• When the

contaminated by
harmful substances.

• Land pollution: Littering, run off,
natural disasters (tsunami)
• Air pollution: burning of fossil
fuels, smoking, natural disasters
(volcanic eruptions)
• Water pollution: acid rain, natural
disasters (hurricanes), run off
